Cyber-D’s AutoReboot can automagically reboot a computer when there is no internet connection detected. This can be very useful for servers and kiosk computers that require a constant internet connection and you want to save yourself from walking to the server and rebooting it manually to restore the internet connection.

Cyber-D’s SQL Wizard 1.06

Cyber-D's SQL wizard makes it easy to generate SQL queries from CSV data. This tool is ideal for people who need to insert large amounts of data into an SQL database. If you always receive Excel documents and need to insert the data into an SQL database, then this tool is ideal. Simply save the Excel document as a Comma Sererated Value, import the file, change the variables (see video tutorial on product's website), click parse and save as SQL file. Now you can import the file in your SQL database.
Here is how it works:

Export the Excel document as a CSV file (where “;” is used as a separator).
Run SQL Wizard and browse for the csv or txt file.
Give the columns in the CSV a unique identifier in the “SQL string variables in order of CSV data variables” field. You can use any name you like, as long as it’s between the [square brackets] and seperated by a semicolon.
Modify the “SQL Insert Query” field to match your table name and table column names. Use the names you gave to the SQL columns in the query template.
Click on “Parse” to generate the SQL Queries.
Click on “Save as SQL on Desktop.”
Open the SQL file for inspection and load into SQL database when satisfied.

This tool can also be used to create any other type of queries if you modify the SQL Insert Query string to your needs.

Windows Sidebar “MJPEG Streamer”

MJPEG Streamer is a sidebar gadget made in flash. It can display a mjpeg video stream in it’s native size. This gadget is optimized for 640x480 MJPEG video streams.
Because this gadget is made in flash, you will need the flash plugin for the sidebar. If you have a 64bit version of Windows (mostly Windows 7), you will need to use the 32bit version of the sidebar because there is no 64bit flash plugin yet.

Windows Sidebar: “Bar Clock”

Inspired by Phillipe Starck design. Filled bar is the minutes, number is the hours and moving line is the seconds. Front and back color can be changed in the settings.

Windows Sidebar “Twiv”

Twiv (Timed Web Image Viewer) is a gadget for Windows Vista that downloads a (webcam) image from the web and displays it in a window of 320x240. The images cross fade into the next image. Clicking on the orange arrow takes you to options where you can set the image URL to download and the interval.

Windows Sidebar "Work Progress Bar"

Knowing when you are done with your work at the office depends on when you come in. Thus I made this gadget that shows how many hours I have remaining in my working day at the office. The default working hours per day is set to 08:30 hours per day. This can be modified by clicking on it and changing the time. When the time is up, it will show your working time as 'overtime' and the bar turns red. The timer starts when you log in, and it will not reset itself when you restart your system only until the next day.

Starck Clock is a gadget I made for Vista and Windows 7. Inspired by the Philippe Starck designed Fossil wristwatch. Choose between black or white background, regular or glow clock style. Clock color can be changed by clicking on the clock disc.

Cyber-D's DriveHide makes it easy to hide drives from the Windows Explorer window in Windows Vista and Windows 7. If you have one of those 6-in-1 cardreaders for example, you probably have 6 extra drive letters in your Explorer window. You probably only use 5 out of 6 slots and it's always a guess in what drive your card ended up in. Why not simply hide the drives you never use and make your life easier?

Prevent screensaver from showing up when you are on a certain website (for example YouTube) or watching a video in your favorite video player. Simply enter (part of) the window title of the application you are using to watch your video. If you are watching a video in a browser, simply enter part of the title of the browser window (for example YouTube). The application is free without limitations or advertising. Donations to the developer are always welcome.

Cyber-D's SWF2JPG 2.01

Cyber-D's SWF2JPG makes it easy to quickly create a series of 'backup images' or 'preview images' of flash banners (swf files). Simply select the folder that contains all swf files and click on "Snap" to create an image of the flash frame and click on "Next" to proceed to the next banner. The progress bar show how far you are from completing all banners. When you are done you will have 'backup images' or 'preview images' of all your swf files.
How does it work?

1. Click on Browse to select a folder containing the swf files.
2. Wait for the right moment and click on "Snap" to create the snapshot. The snapshot is automagically saved in the same folder as the .swf under the same name (except it's a .jpg file). You will also hear a sound to confirm the snapshot.
3. Click on "Next" to advance to the next banner. The progress bar is an indication on what .swf file you are currently at. The status text below the buttons also shows what file you are currently at.

The file is a standalone executable, no need to install it.
update: This tool only works properly on your PRIMARY MONITOR due to limitations of the software I used to create this tool (Macromedia Director). If you use this tool on your secondary monitor, you will get jpg files that contain a screenshot of your primary monitor's desktop.

Cyber-D's Wallpaper Shifter 7.10

Wallpaper Shifter is a little program that starts when you login to Windows and picks a random wallpaper from your list. Depending on the wallpaper width and height, it can automagically scale it for you to fit your desktop without deforming it's proportions. It does not remain running in the background so no system resources are used. Optionally you can also delete / change the current wallpaper on demand if you do not like what you see. A shortcut to “Delete current wallpaper” is provided on the desktop.

Cyber-D's Tetris is a free tetris game with some nice visual effects, sounds and highscore list. Sound effects can be disabled. Keyboard controls are simple and can be customized. Highscore position can be seen live while playing.

RandoMP3 is a package of two tools; "Audition" and "Charger".

Audition helps you in auditioning your MP3 archive. With the click of a button it selects a random album for you (folder with mp3's) and plays it in winamp. You can decide if you want to keep the folder, relocate it or delete it. Additionally you can put all the files in the selected folder in winamp again in case you lost your playlist. You can also browse the current folder if you want to copy certain files. If you added new albums to your archive, you can manually re-scan your root media folder or wait until you played all folders once (it will rescan your media folder).

Charger quickly fills your mp3 player (or any disk) with random albums or songs. It doesn't pick the same songs twice and remembers what songs it picked previously so you can continue next time. Multiple profiles supported.

Cyber-D's MOV2GIF 1.04

Cyber-D's MOV2GIF makes it easy to quickly create an animated gif of your size by grabbing video frames. Simply load the avi, mov or mpg video and scroll to the frames you wish to grab, click on Grab and go to the next frame. When you are done grabbing frames, click on "Output" in the top menu and customize the output setting like resize mode, resolution and timing. Save the animated gif when done.

Cyber-D's Webcam Archiver 1.08

Cyber-D's Webcam Archiver can save any webcam image from a URL. You can create multiple profiles for every webcam you enter. The images are saved in a folder you selected with profile and date subfolder names. History of images can be adjusted to prevent your disk from filling up with images. Smart save can detect changes in images and can skip the image from being saved. Intervals can be adjusted or set to auto.

Cyber-D's Autodelete 3.04

Cyber-D's Autodelete can delete old files in a folder (and subfolders) you selected. Simply select the folder you wish to clean (downloads for example), set the rules (older than 30 days since created) and how to delete (move, recycle, secure delete). The cleanup is done on system startup only so it does not stay open in the background or you can run the cleanup manually. Log files are created per clean session and filters can be applied. Cleaning status window, run on startup and log files can be disabled if you wish.

If you are not satisfied with Autodelete, then you might want to give Belvedere a try. I did not make Belvedere myself, but it can also do what Autodelete does and more.

If you get an "Error 5:" message when autodelete runs, then you most probably are a Windows Vista user and have UAC (User Account Control) turned on. The only way to run autodelete with UAC on is by running it as an administrator. You can also right-click on the autodelete shortcut and go to the 'advanced' tab, then the 'advanced' button and activate 'run as administrator'. The program will not give an error but you will get a UAC warning every time the program runs. I have not found a way to avoid this, so the only advice I can give is to disable UAC by going to the control panel and in the search type 'disable UAC', you will be given a link to disable UAC.

Cyber-D's Image Sequence Viewer makes it easy to quickly view a sequence of images as an animation. You can change the frame rate, step frame-by-frame, loop the video and include images in subfolders. Ideal for watching your sketch animation or archived webcam images.
