RandoMP3 is a package of two tools; "Audition" and "Charger".
Audition helps you in auditioning your MP3 archive. With the click of a button it selects a random album for you (folder with mp3's) and plays it in winamp. You can decide if you want to keep the folder, relocate it or delete it. Additionally you can put all the files in the selected folder in winamp again in case you lost your playlist. You can also browse the current folder if you want to copy certain files. If you added new albums to your archive, you can manually re-scan your root media folder or wait until you played all folders once (it will rescan your media folder).
Charger quickly fills your mp3 player (or any disk) with random albums or songs. It doesn't pick the same songs twice and remembers what songs it picked previously so you can continue next time. Multiple profiles supported.

Would it be nice to :
- Set more thant 1 folder.
- Download missing album art.
Setting more than 1 folder would require a large update on the application (recoding, redesigning the interface to add a pulldown menu and more buttons). Perhaps if there is enough demand for it I would consider adding it.
Downloading missing album art is not easy to add. Even if I did add it, it would mostly download the wrong album art without interaction of the user. To add user interaction, I would have to add an interface to re-phase the search string, browse the album art and pick the proper one. This would also require a major update. Also for this one if there is lots of demand for it, I would consider adding it. In the meantime you can manually download album art or have Winamp do it for you (manually).
And what about this easy one :
Minimize to tray ?
I get this error... I don't if it can help ? Of course, remove space and add http at the begining...

Version 2.07 of RandoMP3 Audition is now available. Can now minimize and run from tray.

First, thanks for the new version.. I'm using the software to remove albums I don't need/like anymore..
Only, one question...How come I don't have the fourth button on the right...

The fourth button on the right comes from a program called "ultramon". This shareware program can extend the taskbar to your secondary display. It can also add buttons to your applications. The button you see in my screenshot moves the window to the secondary display. It also allows you to have a wide wallpaper spanning 2 screens.
When there's only one mp3 in a directory, your software didn't send it to winamp... as if the directory was empty...

I'm using right now Vista, and your software don't put itself on the tray (Next to the clock) when it's minimized... is this fearture missing ?

I am using it myself on Vista Home Premium and it works fine. I do get a yellow dot icon in the tray. Perhaps you are not using the latest version 2.09? Or perhaps the icon is hidden? (Click on the arrow next to the tray to expand hidden icons).

Hi coolchris,
Do you get this error in Audition or in Charger? Try to re-select the audio source directory. Sometimes it can happen that the configuration file is not properly saved and gets corrupted. Next update will have a configuration backup.
